Why Giving Away Your Agency Isn’t a Good Idea ?

How much influence do we really have over the world we live in?

In this video, I explore a question that sits at the heart of the conversations in this series: what happens when we stop believing that we have the ability to shape our own reality?
We often associate influence with money, connections, resources or visible success.
But there is another dimension that is much easier to overlook: our beliefs, our attitude towards possibility, our willingness to act, and even our simple presence.
Because our influence does not only come from what we build or create ourselves. The places we spend our time, the platforms we use, the businesses we support, the ideas we engage with and the attention we give all contribute to the environments around us. Even what feels like passive participation can have an effect.
So what are we helping to maintain through our choices, our attention and our presence? And what happens when we start looking at our own agency differently?
Perhaps having agency is not about controlling everything around us.
Perhaps it begins with recognising the influence we already have, and deciding what we want to do with it.
A continuation of the ideas explored in the previous videos on perception, imagination and the way we shape the reality we share.
