Freeing up time by eliminating unnecessary tasks is an essential first step, but it requires the courage to do so. Often, we cling to familiar processes, even when they are inefficient, because they provide a sense of stability and psychological comfort.
Even when a method doesn’t work well, it feels safer to persist, hoping that over time it will yield better results.
This reaction is human: the unknown is scary. Removing a habitual task means taking a risk, it creates a void and forces us to adopt a new way of working that has yet to prove itself. However, it is precisely by taking this leap into uncertainty that we unlock real improvements.
Having the courage to let go means recognizing that the comfort of the familiar can be a trap. It requires a certain level of clarity to objectively assess what truly works and dare to abandon what no longer serves us, even if it brings a temporary sense of discomfort. It also calls for trust, trust in our ability to discover better solutions once we have freed up space.
Ultimately, real progress comes not only from analyzing processes but also from our ability to embrace change with boldness.
